Design

The first step in our process is to receive your drawings and request final frozen architectural drawings in both PDF and DWG format.
We may get in touch for additional information if required. We will then allocate a designer and engineer as part of our team.

Manufacture

Secondly a FAB PACK is used to create a panel that has a custom shape or size, eliminating any waste and minimising the number of joints on the panel.
The FAB Pack includes: floor Joists, trusses, steels, glulams etc. This is a minimum 3 - 4 weeks before site starts.

Supply

A prestart meeting and a site visit will take place prior to any work starting.
We will deliver you system in sections ready to install onsite by our installation team.

Install

The installation team installs the full SIP structure in a coordinated sequence.

The University of NottinghamThe RAD Building has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent and will include Passivhaus measures to reduce energy requirements, providing a comfortable space for users whilst maintaining outstanding energy efficiency.
The original specification indicated both SIP and Steel Frame System (SFS) internals. Through teamwork, we changed the specification to a thinner build, saving up to 250 mm. The SIPs Cladding Panel was selected for the project as it offered reliable performance, space saving opportunities and quality delivery by qualified installers.
